History! by Zhukov - The Military History Emporium

Cheerful Soviet soldiers celebrate their success over the German forces in Stalingrad. Over the desperate, five month battle, the Red Army would suffer nearly a half-million dead, and about 650,000 wounded. Despite the steep cost of victory however, the Soviet forces had not only repulsed the Germans from the city, but won a stirring propaganda coup with the capture of the 6th Army.
